The Piaggio Ape’

Our love of everything Italian has led us to import and offer to you our fully restored 1967 Piaggio Ape` converted into a sophisticated mobile bar that will elevate and enhance your next private event. We are extremely excited to bring to life this 1967 vintage beauty to the shores of Auckland.

We have been working diligently over the past 12 months customising, restoring and creating this gorgeous and unique 1967 vintage mobile bar. The Ape’ (pronounced Arr-pay) means “bee” and the first of its kind was built in Italy in 1948 to negotiate the narrow cobbled alleyways, delivering goods all over Italy.

What we offer

Creating a picture perfect backdrop, our beautifully restored Piaggio Ape` is suitable for all seasons and any reason.

This mobile bar service is perfect for corporate events, office happy hours, 21st parties, hen and stag parties, engagements, weddings and more.

We do the hard work and bring our unique bar to your event.

The Drinks

We pride ourselves on not just serving drinks, but creating an atmosphere of elegance and enjoyment.  Two of our taps can serve beer of your choice and one tap can serve “Espresso Martini” straight into your preferred cocktail glass. BYO wine, champagne and beer can be chilled in a variety of our fabulous ice buckets.

The Piaggio Apé’

Imagine our beautiful sleek, custom-designed 1967 Piaggio Apé mobile bar arriving at your doorstep, ready to serve your favourite drinks with style and flair.  Our Ape’ arrives on wheels, can fit into small spaces and will create an instant talking point and many photo opportunities at your next event. Basic decoration includes lighting, drink garnishes and 2x drinks mats.

The Party

  5. You order and pay for alcohol from our preferred supplier 5 days prior to event
  6. We arrive 1 hour prior to your booking to setup
  7. You relax, we take over while you celebrate CINCIN!!

Frequently asked

Does the price include travel?

ONLY to the North Shore of Auckland as far as Orewa. Price to be agreed further afield.

Do you have a liquor license?

As this is a private event and you are supplying/paying for the alcohol, a license is not necessary.

Who organises delivery of the kegs on the day?

As you are providing the alcohol, it is your responsibility to co-ordinate with our supplier and organise collection or return of the kegs the following working day. If you prefer, we can organise this as an additional fee.

Can we provide bottles of alcohol?

It is a greater option to use the taps, but yes of course some of the world’s beautiful champagnes do not come on tap — and we have plenty of fabulous ice buckets for an additional hire fee.

Who provides the glassware?

Every occasion and theme is different — it is best you hire your own glassware to suit your event i.e. cocktail glasses, highball tumbler, champagne, wine or beer glasses. We have a small selection of glasses to hire at an extra cost per glass (up to 50 x 4 different types).
